pilgrim ponders the flame of life-----
Pilgrim imagined that embedded within all which lives there is a tiny spark, a flame, a mysterious power source enabling each and every individual life-- common to all life.
Pilgrim questions the possibility of such imagining being reality---how could that be ?
Perhaps the reality, for me, depends upon believing the imagining--thinks pilgrim--depends upon whether I believe it to be true ?
But is it possible to believe in such a manner ?
Perhaps---ponders pilgrim--the provision of such ability is some part of the mystery of the flame ?
Pilgrim decides to accept for a moment that such may be the case, that such may be true.
But is it possible to inhabit that truth--if such it is ?
Is it possible to become conscious of not simply being aware of the flame but aware also of being the flame ?
Pilgrim wonders what evidence would suggest that such awareness is possible.
What is possible to do which both transports to the flame and also transforms into the flame ?
What motivation, what choice of behaviour may result in such transcendence ?
Pilgrim continues to ponder------and stumble.
