Black Cats difficult?

Black cats really seem to be a special kind of breed.
My Meggie is still a kitten, now 15 weeks. She's not 100% black, she's got 2 small white spots, 1 on her throat and 1 on her belly.
She adorable, cuddly, but boy, is she also a handful!!
I've never come across a kitten that doesn't love to sleep in your lap. Even my lively calico did.
But Meggie... I think she's briefly slept in my lap once in the 5 weeks she's been with me.
What she loves is to lay high on my chest. But that's not particularly handy, certainly not with a lively kitten. The distance to my eyes isn't big then and I've already had her accidentally scratch my eye. Resulting in GP visit for antibiotics ointment.
She jumps in my lap again and again to either go up to my chest or to 'attack' my hand on the mouse, or the keyboard when I type, and so on.

Now this is adorable and cute in itself, but it does become annoying and I cannot get her to not do it.

Since I've had her I've been told by several people about their black cat experience. Seems in many cases they're all a bit of a menace until a little older.

Now I've had a male black cat, my Bailey, never had a problem with him whatsoever so it surprised me to hear this, and to experience this with my Meggie.

Needless to say it's also difficult still difficult with the other 2 cats. Normally, when a kitten sleeps in your lap a lot, you can easily have the kitten indoors with other cats.
I can't do that with Meggie as she keeps running, playing, hassling the other 2.

As I was typing this, she managed to get a couple of books and magazines to fall of the table with a loud bang??

I love her, she's adorable, but also a royal pain up the rear end!

I wonder if anyone has had a similar thing with a black cat?

I had a long haired black cat, once.
She was solid black.
When I would be standing up, our eyes would meet and she would spring forth to be caught in my arms and then she would climb up and rub her face on one side of my face and then the other.
She was very lovable.
At night time, she waited till I would go to sleep, during that time period, I slept on my stomach. When I was asleep, she would gracefully get on my back and then go to sleep.
