How powerful are Black Obsidian?

I was curious how strong are the Black Obsidian. Did it really stimulate your chakras?

One site says this crystal should only be put outside the house like in the balcony to act as a house guardian and should not be put inside the house. What's your comment on this?

Obsidian has no limitations. This stone has a particularly strong and often confronting vibration of truth and work quickly. it will draw out things you've been ignoring maybe and pushes you to confront them. For some this means total upheaval, for others, a change in the breeze.

Black obsidian was one of the strongest crystals I have worked with. As it is powerful in what it does. Bringing you things to the surface that have been buried for a long time. So caution should be taken if one wishes to use it. If using it, I would recommend pairing it with a heart stone, to help ease yourself into anything it brings up. As it can be very jarring at first.

Indeed it can be jarring for reason mentioned.
But it is very personal. I was a bit concerned about it when I got my black obsidian alien skull in, my first black obsidian ever. So no clue how I'd react to it. It being an alien skull added to that.
But ... nothing. I even slept with it the very first night. Maybe it helped that the previous guardian of the skull was a friend that resonated very closely with me?

Whether it stimulated all chakras.. no idea. I buy intuitively, so because I sense I need them. At the time I was emotionally unstable, felt unsafe, unprotected. The black obsidian skull helped me with that. So I'd say it mostly worked on the lower chakras.

Actually, I see many people wearing Black Obsidian on their body. I have done that too. I don't think it's a must to put it outside rather than inside the house either.
Personally, it was one of the first stones/crystals that I put on to carry with me everywhere for a while. It helped me see and resolve some buried issues I had kept inside my heart for a long time and it even protected me very well. It is grounding (earth chakra) and feels nice to have around. It absorbs all the negative energy, so it just needs to be regularly cleansed.
