Grappling with a spirit entity

I awoke in bed, physically I could move but felt very drained and tired. I felt a sudden feeling and entered into sleep paralysis. I felt an entity over me and we both grabbed each other's wrist/hands. We we're struggling our arms about. I couldn't see it but it was there in the pitch dark room. We we're struggling. I kept telling it to it's face it has no power over me. That it is defeated. I felt it and it wasn't stronger than me. I kept repeating those words till it left. Are this episodes common?

I believe it was just a manifestation of your fear. Try to overcome it, and yo won't create it again.

Entities typically don't stick around unless you're especially young. Children are easy to frighten and drain, and often enter the astral realm without even realizing it, so they're less prepared to defend themselves.
