How do you know if someone is your spirit guide in your dreams?
How would you know? I was reading something about if someone was wearing royal blue or shimmering royal blue they could be your guide?

ASK ASK ASK. In some way or another you will get your answer. And yes, blue is a significant color. I see a single spark of blue light often and I know that there is a consciousness attached to it.

Dreams are often symbolic. It's hard to rule anything out. Just let it be and see what comes of it in the future, and if nothing, or if something, then you will have your answer.

First off I buy that any color or symbol for that matter is globally specific. If your guides are trying to communicate with you through your dreams they are going to use signs/symbols that are VERY SPECIFIC to YOU. That being said if you want to communicate with your guides why not doing while awake? It's probably the easiest of the spiritual practices to learn never mind important for your spiritual development.

Your guide will appear as anything in a dream. Just like in real life they throw out symbols and aid in you going on your path. Its just a matter of remembering your dream and recording it in a journal....
There is a wisdom in your dreams. The term sleep on it for instance......

Yeah I had a dream recently where a woman was wearing a royal blue dress that was edged in silver or gold and it was shimmering. She wanted to talk to me and we had a conversation. There was a lot of energy there.

Spring... Next time this being shows up you might strike up conversation. You can ask spirit beings, in dreams or in other means of contact, who they are and why they are coming to you and, if they are guides, how they can help you. They are always the best ones for information about themselves.

Hello
The saying is ask and you shall receive, but remember not all messages might show in the way we feel they should. Many times we expect "communication in words" but there are so many other messages we get.
Dreams, animals, songs, billboards, an ad on TV anything like this that gives you pause to look deeper could hold a message for you. Listen to your inner voice your gut feelings around things.
