Sorry to read that you lost your sister.

I hope you do not mind me posting my identification with your post.

After my mother passed away I prayed to God requesting insight to where my mother was. That night I dreamt of a garden full of flowers with a path through it. Jesus was walking down the path. All the flowers were leaning towards him, like they do when facing the sun. As Jesus passed, all the nearby flowers sent out their perfumes. Then I was drawn to one particular flower, a rose (though my mother loved carnations) giving off its perfume. The strange thing was that I noticed that the rose had no thorns. I got a clear message that it was my mother. Naturally, I felt great peace from this dream.

Many years later I was reading a book on Christian symbolism. In one section, it talked about the heavenly garden where the thornless roses grew. This took me by surprise, and added greater meaningfulness my peace.

PS, you have created a very beautiful image in memory of your sister.
