Dreamcatchers are said to capture the nightmares and bad dreams we have in the night... they stay stuck in the threads and dissolve away when the morning light hits them.
I think Yaoughta is on the money, you do desire to remember your dreams and to figure out why you dream them. I know you write your dreams out, perhaps there's something to be said for revisiting the dreams that put you on edge or that you find uncomfortable. There may be growth and understanding there. In other words, shine a light on them and see what happens *smiles*
