The Spread Thread.

I thought I'd start a thread that could be a handy place for people to post tarot spreads that others may find useful.

Obviously, if it's a spread designed by someone else, credit should be given to the creator of the spread.

It would be interesting to exchange some inspiration.

There is a challenge coming up on instagram I am really excited about, from Instagram user; Purified.healing called, The Four Archetype Tarot challenge; Persona-Shadow-Anim/Animus/Self. The template is way too large to share, but not hard to find!

I've seen it and considering taking part. I love instagram challenges.

General / week or month ahead



Card 1 Divine guidance, offers a message from the universe(can be an oracle or tarot card).

Card 2 Your main theme should reflect the general energy of the week

Card 3 Assisting energy is the energy that assists the main theme, not you.

Card 3 Thwarting energy is what is trying to work against the main energy, therefore, you may find the thwarting energy is more positive than the assisting energy.

The blindspot spread.

A great spread for self reflection. It can be a good starting point for shadow working, by showing up those murky little subconscious areas we all have.



Card 1 This card displays your identity, the part of you that everyone sees

Card 2 This card shows unconscious areas about you that you nor anybody else is aware of.

Card 3 The secret side of you that you hide from others.

Card 4 This is your blind spot, the part of you that others see yet you cannot recognise in yourself (and yes, it may make you defensive or even deny).

Great thread, thanks 55Degrees. I wanted to bump it up so it doesn't get lost. There's a few spreads in here already I'll have a go at.

The spread below I found quite useful:

"How can I make the best of a bad situation spread"

I found this spread in a book "The Ultimate Guide to Tarot Spreads" by Liz Dean. Unfortunately, the photo didn't come out very well and makes it too difficult to read, so I'll have to post it manually.

"Take out card VIII Strength from the major arcana and place it face up. Then shuffle and choose the remaining cards and lay them out in a row ... " (horizontally)

1. Present Situation
2. How the lion roared: past causes of the situation
3. What could I release in order to move on?
4. What could I hold on to?
5. Outcome.
