And speaking of cleansing with sound...

Wow, ouch, that's a lot of money for a tool. Maybe they'll become a bit more popular and easier to find, so the price can come down a bit. Doubly so for the smaller versions -- I've seen 3" and 5" pyramids on YouTube, and that's about all I'd have room for.

And if not, well, one of my tuning forks is built of similar quartz rods. It plays a C note, 512 Hz, and sounds like a bell. So I do already have one tone-producing tool that's made of quartz, lol.

This morning, I embarked on quite a project. I'd been doing some reading and YouTube watching, regarding singing laser crystals. Now, I have a rather large number of quartz jewelry points, which I got for the purpose of making jewelry and wands. I started wondering, as I was doing this research, if any of those jewelry points were singers.

So I went through them ALL, and boy did that ever take a while. My search did pay off, as I found four singers in among the many.

I actually think ALL quartz points "sing", really, but my suspicion is that most of them sing at a frequency that's too high for human ears to hear. The ones whose natural pitch is clearly heard by our ears are the ones that we designate as singers.

I'm adding the singing points to my sound-producing tools. One big positive is that they are VERY portable. :-)

Edit to add: here's an interesting YouTube video demonstrating singing crystals. One of my cats, who was sleeping next to me, woke up and took a VERY keen interest when he heard the crystals ringing. :-)

OOOO, I am going to have some serious fun. I just got the first of three eBay purchases. This one consists of three large (4.5") singing Lemurian laser wands. The other two orders involve two singing wands each.

I have been practicing getting different kinds of pings out of them by touching them to each other on different faces, tapping them gently on one another in different locations, and drawing a small 1.5" Lemurian DT wand along their various faces. (I posted a video link not long ago that showed this technique.) The little Lemurian was among my jewelry points, before I went on the above-mentioned treasure hunt to see if any of the points were singers. It has an interesting tone -- not quite as clear as the singing wands, but different from the obviously non-singers. Maybe it needs a new classification, like semi-singer.

I think I'll enjoy getting the knack of using these.

Edit #2: So I had one of the singing wands in my hand, and was making it sing via the technique in the above video. The same kitty I mentioned above promptly came over and not just sat in my lap, but laid down on my arm that was IN my lap as well. LOL. He really seems to like that sound. :)

I have invested in some singing laser wands in recent weeks. Today, I was listening to a podcast about doing an "energy detox" on oneself. I had a sense that I should hold a smokey quartz sphere I recently got while following along with the speaker and doing the energy detox.

Well, it turns out that the sphere helped with the detox by absorbing some of the unwanted energy "gunk", so it needed to be cleared after I was done.

I rolled the sphere around in my hands along with three of the singing wands, letting the sound of the wands do the clearing. Then, for good measure, I sat the sphere on two of the wands and raked the third wand along them, so that all three of the wands produced a sustained sound.

Bingo. Instant cleared sphere.

Here is an article from Jonathan Goldman's newsletter, which I just got in my email a little while ago. It includes a video of how ultrasonic waves levitate a water droplet and cause it to change shape (as it levitates in the air).

There is no audio (that I can detect) on this video. My dog paid the computer no attention, as well, which suggests to me that there might not even be ultrasonic tones present that would have been audible to him.

Fascinating stuff. This is a visual representation of why I believe that sound energy can be used for cleansing -- it IS energy, and it's a PHYSICAL energy that's able to act on physical objects and make them vibrate according to its own frequency. Therefore, it quite literally affects the vibration of whatever it touches, even if it's above or below the range where average human hearing could detect it.
