I dream that I am animals, but I am sure that is quite different that actually taking on the form in different realms.

I have actually, very briefly, done it myself. But that was in an extreme situation and I did it for my own protection under great duress, having had no experience of it before. It was my primal gut-felt solution to a problem at the time (a long time ago.)

It is a very "real" thing and feels quite "physical" when it happens. It is possible, I believe, for any of us to be able to do that kind of thing, but it takes a lot of primal energy, singular focus, and powerful emotion (or at least it did with me, though I think those who are skilful and practised could do that in a much more cool way.)
But the majority of people wouldn't even be aware it was possible, then may not have the basic energy or desire in them to make it happen.

Did you recognise the underlying energy-signature of this man/wolf Being? Was it familiar in any way at all?

So, if you don't mind me asking...did you do this while awake?

The wolf was observant. I had my guard up in case it decided to move towards me, so I didn't keep my self open to feel its emotions.

I spoke to the man from the website. All the other sightings were around the dam. I saw it in my home. It was thinking it was a physical being, until he heard he saw it in my home, then he thought of it being supernatural.

here is the article.

Hi Gracey,

You might want to do some research on Wendigo as well. It sounds similar, you may find some useful information. They've been reported across Canada with varying features and stories but they're all quite frightening imo.

here's a story, told in a manner to aid in roleplaying:
White Howlers
http://whitewolf.wikia.com/wiki/White_Howlers

you might browse that wiki for information on 'skinwalkers'
and/or 'wendigo' if you wish Gracey.

is it worthwhile to point out that wolves (and werewolves?)
tend towards traveling in packs?

@ SaturninePluto
the blood lineage may hold less significance than you've imagined.
the 'spirit of the land' in which you were born may have supplied
you with information more relevant than blood-line ancestry.

it may be that you need a "rite of passage" experience in order to
contact 'spiritual advisers' who know more than those steeped in
mundane knowledge (?). the rituals of shamans are probably aiming
to make contact with those very same 'spiritual advisers'... perhaps
you don't [necessarily] need those dogmas to establish a connection.

Thanks Kaere, I did some research on windigos and that also had me researching on gods/myths that had dog heads.

Thanks, I haven't came across this link until now. Interesting stuff. And I didn't think of them traveling in packs. First thing I thought of when you said that was the map that is on the link to the article I posted about the one spotted here. The map shows all the werewolf, upright canine type of things in my state. There are quite a few. Perhaps they are all part of the same pack. I dunno.
