Aradia.... What can you tell me of her.

I am curious about the Goddess Aradia, and I am wondering what people can tell me about her. I remember reading a couple of stories about her a long time ago when i was training in a Wiccan coven.
I understood he to be linked both to the earth and the moon very strongly. The stories i heard about her said that she was Diana's daughter, and I was told that she was linked to some forms of justice.
It has been eight years since i heard of her and for some reason she has stuck in my mind - she seems to be important to me some how.
What I now practice is different from Wicca; It is less scripted, but is still strongly earth based. It also includes a deep connection with the Faerie.
I still think of myself as a Witch. And i am just wondering what people can tell me about Aradia, or if they have any resources to point me to. I want to know why she seems so important for me to know about.

Your strong interest in her may be because she's calling you to work with her; but only you can decide that.

Aradia is Italian but is loved all around the world and as you say - the daughter of Diana and Diana's brother Lucifer. The legend says that Aradia came to earth to teach her mother's magic. She is a moon goddess

Charles Godfrey Leland published a book entitled "Aradia: the Gospel of the Witches". I'm not sure if it's still in print or not.

Thank you Jenny crow, interesting thought. I will look into the book. My spirituality in mostly focused on Faerie Magic but i know it has some overlap with Wicca - I actually trained in a coven for a couple of years when i was younger.
Is there any more you can tell me ? I remember a couple of stories about Aradia, but i don't know much. you say she is here to tech magic? That seems to match what i have been working on. magic is usually associated with empowerment and an open mind. Do you know if she is Associated with visions at all? I have been having some very intense ones, lately and i am still learning how to control and understand them.

No, that's about all I know about her, sorry.

The visions could be, perhaps, because you are growing in spirituality and you're opening intuitively and psychically. It could be that these visions are coming from your guides. Do the visions have messages for you?

yes they do, although it sometimes take some take some time to tease them out. There are made up of a lot of symbols and emotions, which works well for me because my mind has always been tuned to think that way.
I am not sure if the visions are from my guides themselves - they don't always seem to know what is going yo happen in them. However my guides have been helping me understand them better, and how to accept them more comfortably.
They tell e they are important. But it seems like they need to know what is in them too... I think they come from a part of the universe that is very old.

Well, seems like you're on an important journey - a learning curve. I've found that often this will happen to people. Things trot along just steadily for a while then suddenly there's a fast growth spurt which can be a little unnerving sometimes. But stick with it and hopefully things will become more clear for you
