A person who died visited me in dream

Sentient, very interesting that you were told you no longer had access to communicate, also about the four year mark. It has me curious...considering "time" as we know it is different in other realms. These visits I've had have been all within the past four years since I've been on this journey...my great grandmother died in 1998 and she's come through about four times, two school mates who died in 1999 and early 2000, a boyfriend of an old boss of mine who died in the 1990's whom I'd never met, my husband's grandfather who I'd never met who died 15 years ago, my grandfather who passed about 3 years ago, and my friend's father who died 3 years ago.

It's strange, some who passed somewhat recently and some from many years ago. It has me thinking if the ones who had passed many years ago if it's possibly their souls traveling whether they've reincarnated or not, just visiting in the form I'd recognize them.

You know Lucky – what is also possible is that some may have already reincarnated, but they may have left a message behind for you to ‘pick up’ – when you became ready to ‘receive’ it.
