But a day... but a dream... or maybe something in between
The whole house sweetened, infused with the aroma of a vanilla scented dream.
The fragrance permeated my being, and everything seemed, in a way, better than it had been.
The house work less burdensome, as the relentless calls of children, transformed from dreaded to pleasant, somehow so, bringing ease to my otherwise apprehensive expression.
I felt myself begin to slip comfortably into a silken state of mind that superseded time and all its complications. Where I existed as a fleeting thought, as a momentary expression... but a pulse, but a breath...
