RIP Jonah Lomu
Sad and shocked to hear of the sudden death of All Black rugby legend Jonah Lomu, at the age of only 40 ...

That is a very young age to leave this world. It must be also very hard for his family.
I don't know of him, as I don't know about Rugby, but my kindest wishes for his Soul in the next Dimension, and kind thoughts to his loved ones still in this world.

Very sad news.
What an inspiring rugby player Jonah was.
God bless his spirit.

So young...so young. :(
I don't follow the code, but it's hard not to know who Jonah Lomu was...he single handedly made the game what it is today.
He was very brave, playing with a kidney disease for so long. A truly inspirational man and an awesome role model.
May his soul find peace. RIP Jonah Lomu.

He's like a streak of strength and lightning!
How strange that such a fit strong man should pass away so young...
He battled kidney disease? That is no fun. Blessings to him.

Apparently it was as early 1995 he was diagnosed with a deteriorating kidney disease etc
I stumbled across this video the other day, and thought it was a good tribute by the New Zealand politician. I liked the way he expressed himself, especially with his last statement.

I am not a die hard rugby fan, as a sport! culture thing. But i am fan of individuals and recognize athlete's that are different. Sometimes in life you get those talents that come along once in a generation! but sometimes......sometimes! you get talents or performers that come along, but once they are gone? don't come back! you never quite see the same flare or magnetism again! it's something that cannot be manufactured.
Elvis, Michael Jackson, Mu Hammed Ali, ........and for me Jonah Lomu was one of those type of athletes. Because he came along at that transitional period in his sport, and he showed people something different! unique at that time.
And for me as a man, that's got to be respected.
