It would be rude of me to say anything bad about the mona Lisa which is, after all , probably one of the most famous paintings in the world .
Of course, it is a brilliant painting but the "dullness " of it leaves me feeling a little cold. I accept that this painting is around 500 years old and very "in keeping" with the style of the times.
The bottom one is what I would be visually attracted to most.
I love the colours and the vibrancy . Love the little piece that has fluttered onto her eyelash.
One could argue that the mona Lisa looks slightly more cheerful !!!
But definatley the second one for me any day.

So Zeena, just out of curiosity, why do you ask this?

You read my mind.
I'm wondering if the the artist of the second pic is actually the author... Be amazing if it was !
( There is a lot more I could say about these two paintings but I'm holding back for now !! )
