Not really. EFT is a simplified version of Thought Field Therapy [ The Callahan Technique ]. Different points. I suppose using magnets is an off-shoot of acupressure.

There used to be a hand device and foot device that when worn at night it would help the flow of the blood through the right side of the body to the left side of the body.

Are you talking about hematite (stone) used to make many bracelets, help with carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, etc...Stones/crystals are VERY beneficial...hematite is just one of hundreds....
