Magnets for healing....

I have a magnetic bracelet, not exactly sure what it does, but I was drawn to it for some reason. The first time I wore it, I felt a tingling, like energy sensation going thru my wrist. I had heard of magnets having a healing quality, but that is all I know.

Strange that you were drawn to wearing a magnetic bracelet. Do you suffer arm or wrist problems?

There is a split belief in bio-magnetic healing working as is claimed. To brief it down, its said that we emit magnetic fields from the body...the brain being the largest of that...and magnets are said to relax blood vessels and muscles in aching areas to allow the blood cells to unclump and re-oxygenate.

That's the simple version anyway
We've been using them for a while now and found they have definite theraputic value. Only this weekend, I've been suffering painful tendonitis and taped 2 magnets to my hand and wrist. As they worked I could feel the heat generating in that area and the pain shifted, as if running away from the magnet. I used the magnets to follow the pain. With the help of anti-inflammatories and magnets I released a week's pain by end of day.

It's worth looking into for those who don't like using medications. Santa is giving us a magnetic under-lay for our bed for Xmas

I have had problems with my wrist, but not really recently. Carpal tunnel problems, usually when I was painting for long periods of time.

Thanks for the simple version explanation ~ and now that you mention it, there was a feeling of warmth when I first put the bracelet on.

Wow, a magnetic underlay for your bed ! I have never heard of such a thing before.

I am visualizing a scene from a magic movie, in the middle of the night, all these apports come flying into your room ! Magnetically attracted to this magnetic underlay of your bed. Might think about surrounding your bed with an invisible shield of protection, before drifting off to sleep, lol !

How big were the magnets you taped to your hand? What kind of store sells magnets?

Small magnets are used in acupuncture treatments, placed on acupuncture points. They are about an eighth of an inch diameter and held in place with a small plaster.. Some large chemists sell them over the counter for things like Travel Sickness to be stuck on the inside of the wrist and I have seen them used in anti-smoking treatments too. For serious complaints, see a professional practitioner of acupuncture.
