Ascension and symptoms

Hello

I am going through what I know to be ascension. During this period of my life I have had tumultuous change, great enlightenment, big shifts in my relationships, become more self aware and authentic, and most of all met the man I think is my twin flame.

I have had many symptoms which I now know I can attribute to the ascension process. Last week a strange thing happened - not sure if I should post it here or in the crystal and mineral forum. I went into a mineral store and was in there for about 20 minutes. I was feeling a bit emotional and unsettled as I am most days, but also because I was thinking of my twin flame and had shared my experience about him with the people who run the store.

The man who served me I think had some sort of vibration that I felt. I felt taken in by his eyes, and his general presence. Anyway after leaving I started developing an allergic type reaction. Like hayfever I think. I have never had an allergic reaction in my life. My eyes were getting bothered by the bookstore I had just entered, and the paper smell was noticeable. Long story short was that my eyes continued to get irritated, watery, and sensitive. Nose was stuffy. Eyes tearing up and not stopping. I ended up at the dr's.

Any ideas what happened? This happened last week and has not happened again.

Yeah you're more than likely an empath who picked up on a negative aura. Protect your energy. I doubt this is the first time you reacted to a negative energy, as most empaths have the ability from birth. Through your awakening you've more than likely became more sensitive. Protect your energy, meditate and keep balanced. You NEED to meditate to clear your energy and keep yourself spiritually clean. You soak up other peoples energies (good and bad).

Angelrain thanks for the response. If you can point me in the direction of what I can do more to protect myself. Some information I can read maybe. I will try meditation though. I have never meditated - all of this is new. I have recently started seeing a reiki practitioner. I think you are right. This guys eyes were extremely bright and pale and I did feel uneasy when I looked at him. I brushed it off because l felt the place I was in should be safe that way. But it felt unsettling to look at him. I have always been sensitive but that is developing into something more pronounced this past year. Like this sounds awful I know.. I have a 7 yr old boy and I feel overwhelmed with him around me too much. I can't think. Now that is a problem! . Now I am just worried, wondering what to with myself xx

If I were you I would start with the chakra system. That's where I began. It gave me a lot of answers as to why I struggled with anger and fear years after a traumatic event. I'm heavy into meditation now, but I wouldn't suggest what I do to someone whos just beginning. So I recommend finding books on the chakra system and others that have to do with energy healing.

Something very similar happened to me too a few weeks ago. I thought I'd caught the flu but the symptoms vanished the next day.

My curiosity is peaked. How do you be yourself amidst a mind clamoring with curiosity? Hrm. I'm not sure how to deal with the hayfever but maybe it won't return. I hope not. Runny noses are the worst. Good luck!

I am still me, but an 'evolving' me. I think a me that is finding herself. This is nothing I consciously asked for. But I know although extremely confusing and distressing in some ways, this spiritual journey has been a lifesaver, and put me on the right path.
