Food evolution - rejects during Kundalini

I propose you to list your different food changes on this topic.

I noticed that:
-2 or 3 days ago the lettuce taste changed. I eat it almost Everyday, and this Week I barely couldnt eat the lettuce ...because of a HEAVY earthy taste.
Finally it's not so horrible (mother Earth!!) but it's very strange to experiment…

today at work I tried veal liver at work (my mum used to cook it on some sundays, I never had problems), it was good and tasty, but like 10mn after, I felt VERY BAD,.....my stomach was painful and I felt like I will faint, and that I had to vomit. So I ran to the toilets to purge….. and everything went well after.
I didnt have time to digest it, so I guess my body really didnt want this ?!
what do you think?

I usually dont eat so much meat now, and its like more poultry.

About the lettuce...it is nothing that some extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar cannot mask the taste of...try that! (I won't eat 'rabbit food' otherwise).

Me puking after eating liver is also nothing new...

We often associate strong emotions with food...all those times when I became anaemic (due to heavy menses) and I was verbally abused because I would NOT eat all my liver...that eventually affected me more than the (horrible) taste of it did.

Funnily enough, I have found myself going heavy on the herbs and spices lately..especially garlic, lemongrass, chili and fresh coriander and I am going through a phase of adding coconut to just about everything.

Whether it is because I like it, or to just hide the taste of everything so it all tastes the "same" is anybody's guess.

Recently, I have been reacting to eggs...I love them and they love me...up until about a week ago when I found myself sitting on the lavatory for three days after eating an omelette..

...and of course, you really did not need to know that.

Yup, I pretty much figured that out immediately after typing it...then I thought "how come I didn't figure it before typing it, so I wouldn't have typed it?" then, after weeks of everybody telling me that I overthink things and I should learn to be more spontaneous because this is my "true self" coming through...I thought "okay then, in that case, the whole of SF is going to know about my bowel habits...they asked for it..."

My body rejected dairy a few months ago, I thought I'd got a virus I felt that unwell. It took a lot of experimenting with individual dairy products, also switching to goats but no, all dairy products are now firmly out of the window and its permanent too as I tried a cream cake last weekend and regretted it but at least I know now. I've switched to oat milk and all nausea and other symptoms have gone.

Hello,

I have worked as a cook for the past 20 odd years.

Some things to consider.

How the food is handled. I don't think many take this into consideration.
How long did the meat sit out?
How fresh was it?
Did the person preparing have cleans hands?

Same with produce.

Where did come from?
Organic does not always mean it is clean? Clean the produce before using.
Has it been modified in some way?

Sometimes the body may change and such thing as allergies may develop.

It can be subtle at time, at other times not so much.

Too much of a good thing, for me has my body get tired of. It begins to not taste the same. So, I take a break from it and switch things up.

Lots of commercial meat has possible hormones and antibiotics in them. Atleast in the US. IMO, may have affects on individuals.

Processed sugars and "other" ingrediences added to foods may have affects. In my field have to pay attention to foods the may contain peanut or other nut oils because of potential allergic reactions.

Suggest, be aware of where the food comes from and how it is prepared.

Just a little side. Some even believe the energy one has while preparing the food can affect the food. Not sure about this. But, does seem food made with love taste better, then something just thrown together. Maybe just my take.

Side note: I know what I share may not be considered very spiritual, but see things as being connected and one can affect the other.

No, that's very helpful. And a cook, wonderful!

Thanks Moonglow

In my family, we eat a lot of fresh water fish. I had always enjoyed the fish but of late I don't feel enthusiastic about it. Many times, I can't tolerate the flavour and have to bring myself to eat it. I do suspect that it has to do with preservatives that may be injected into the fish to keep it fresh longer. These days I'm trying to experiment with smaller varieties of fresh fish to see if I feel any better.

....and I really needed to see your avatar and have the vision (darshan) of Shiva/Shakti right now, because I am going through some really heavy existential stuff and they are there watching over me...reminding me of who/what I am in relation to all of it!
