Energy stealing?

Scarlett, they are our own energy portals to use as we see fit, just as our eyes. Instinctively, we shut them when we see something we don't want to see, it's the same for chakras when they are healthy.

perhaps it was from living for seventeen years with a mother who resorted to drama on most days, but I have always felt a density in my three lower chakras come on when around this type of energy drain.
I have come to realize that it was instinctual on my part. The weightiness feeling is my chakras seizing to vibrate, in effect shutting down temporarily when under attack.

Now, I also include visualizing them as solid and very still colours. Once there is distance from the perpetrator and I feel safe again, the energy changes in the lower chakras, I then visualize the chakra colours as possessing depth like beautiful eyes, of red, orange and yellow, opening. But I trust my energy body to know when to close and open them. I don't walk around 24/7 with opened chakras. This is what feels natural for me.

I've heard a story once about someone who was possessed by demons.
While the demons were in this persons body, this person unintentionally "stole" their energy and slowly developed a very strong inner.
Bit by bit this person became some sort of "spiritual highlander".
And finally the demons could not enter this persons body any longer because of the large quantity of energy this person carried.

Of course channeling the Holy Sprit, The non-dual Universal Energy, is better by far than to be a vessel for demons. I agree fully.
This is very difficult to achieve, though.
For the last 2000 years there were very few who achieved this.
Jesus is one of them.
All the things that are possible when one is truely connected with The Universe are very beautiful.

Furthermore, I personally believe that if one has conquered darkness and negativity, one is more complete, developed and powerful than if one knew only light and positivity.

Opening of chakras can be done through visualisation, but there are other methods too.
Pranayama (breath control) is one of them.

Why would one want to close a chakra?
I believe chakras to be the connection-pionts with The Universe.
Like the wires to the battery.

I thought with your chakras constently open you could make yourself susceptible to negative forces ??

Your house has windows; Do all of them always need to be wide open at all times? What effect would that have?
