anne rice's The Vampire Lestat. I actually like it a lot more than interview with the vampire. the writing style agrees with me more and really paints the pictures of the characters vividly.

'Your Immortal Reality'
How to Break the Cycle of Birth and Death, Gary Renard---excerpt:
One of the most imp things is not to make the universe
of time and space real.
Don't spiritualize the universe.
Don't spiritualize energy or matter.
Energy looks like matter to you sometimes because of the way you perceive it and perceive yourself....as a body...

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru.

I just read my dad's old book The Chrysalids and I enjoyed that and I've just started reading The Ocean At The End Of The Lane by Neil Gaiman.
