Cannot stop pondering over 'other worldly beings'

Hi,

For about the past 33 years, I have had a strong interest in UFOs. I never really gave much thought as to why. Some people really like watching sports, while I don’t. I like studying ufos and alien theories, while a lot of other people don’t.

Just a few years ago, I had an existential crisis. I’m a regular guy, regular job, regular family, etc.. I grew very anxious and depressed. I felt very bored with life, yet things were pretty good. So, I did what I needed to do- I saw a therapist, got on meds, joined a support group, learned about emotions, began meditating. Eventually, my eyes started opening to the spiritual aspect of our existence.

I am much better these days. I still don’t love my job and still find my life generally boring.. but gratefulness and awareness helps me tolerate.

Anyways… I went from reading stuff like books by Whitley Strieber in the 90s… then to following UFO researchers like Steven Greer and Richard Dolan for the past 10 years-ish (which started to get boring). There was nothing new going on in UFOlogy, and I started to lose interest. Which was fine. I felt like I needed to read about something else anyways.

Then along came my ‘existential crisis’.. during that painful phase I started reading and following the likes of Joseph Campbell, Eckhart Tolle, Sharon Salzburg, etc. The UFO studies went to the back burner for a while.

After gaining some insight into spirituality… I found myself being pulled back to the subject of otherworldly beings. But it was different this time. Instead of seeking out the scientific researchers, I became more interested in channelers, claivoyants, etc.. such as Barbara Marciniak, Edgar Cayce, Ester Hicks.

This new angle has opened up a whole new dimension for me (no pun intended). I don’t know how I had overlooked this element-in-the-equation for so long. It is almost like this information never existed before, but suddenly, its right in front of my face.

Synchronicities started happening. I have become so immersed in the subject, that I can’t even read a regular novel that my wife tells me is so good. I have trouble focusing on anything else. I have tried to force myself to listen to ANY podcast or youtube channel that does not revolve around Pleadians or other dimensional beings.. but I simply feel like I cannot pull my attention away from this. Sometimes I grow fearful, for when I try and talk to anyone about it- about 5 seconds into the conversation they look at me like I have lobsters coming out of my ears.

Anyways.. some of the puzzle is fitting together. Its almost as if my ufology interests were juvenile (scientific and fear based), and my depression-then-awakening catapulted me out of that phase, and into something more meaningful.. almost as if it were tying together science and spirituality.

Just wondering if anyone else is feeling similar.

I can see a natural progression of learning. First on a secular level and then as you pondered on it your spiritual side began to awaken unbeknownst to you on a subconscious level. And when that happened you started connecting the dots. Once that began, you saw ufology in a different light. Going back you can interpret it all differently.

Now you have opened a whole different aspect with the mediums, psychics, etc. It's called growth.

Once we venture out on our own from mainstream thinking onto our "individual spiritual path" things can become mighty lonely. Trying to strike up a conversation with (normal) friends will be discouraging. They just aren't there yet. Same as you were before you began to awaken.

SF is where a lot of us come to 'talk' because we have no other outlet for the squirrel running around in our heads. Welcome to my world.

I find myself doubting if all those alien stories are true, but I've been reading so much about it lately because I am just sick of humans and hate living here. So even if I am sceptical, I still find myself drawn to the subject because I'm kinda hoping there's more than just humans and this rotten planet. But I suppose even if it's true, the government won't disclose it in a billion years and no benevolent alien is going to show itself. So why am I even wasting my time if it would not be beneficial to me in any way...

Thank you linen53. I appreciate your insight. Comforting to know there are others with the squirrel-in-head.

As for SlayerOfLight: I sense a lot of negativity in your response. I go thru times of feeling like that as well. But I don’t think you are wasting your time. Keep questioning.

Oh well I'm sorry to give you that impression. But let's be honest, it's a dark world we live in. I'd say something akin to the world of Diablo (if you're familiar with that) except we are the demons ourselves. So I guess you can't really blame me for thinking the way I do.

Almost all stories about visitations by physical aliens in craft turn out to be hoaxes in the end. I'm convinced that most aliens, UFOs, etc... are actually terrestrial in origin, though some may be sub-terrestrial.

Non-terrestrial beings do visit us with some regularity, but not in physical form. They basically astrally project themselves, in the form of coherent light, into our reality. It is possible to interact and communicate with them in this form, if you know how.

When you reference Non-terrestrial beings, are you talking about entities from other star systems, or spirit guides, or angels.. or are all three basically the same thing?

I would say any intelligent life form that is not specifically from the surface of the Earth in 3D reality is a non-terrestrial being. Generally speaking these are interdimensional, or higher-dimensional, depending on your point of view. The ones that people generally encounter in a religious context are clearly higher-dimensional, that is they exist in a realm that has a lot more dimensions than ours.

Whether you consider them ETs, Gods, Angels, Nature Spirits or whatever else is largely a matter of semantics. That is not to say they are all the same, because there are huge differences between various groups. I have encountered higher-dimensional beings, so to my mind, I do not doubt their existence, though empirically it would be pretty hard to prove to an outside observer that they're real. I am much more sceptical about the idea of physical extraterrestrials, because if they existed, it would be so easy to provide material proof that they are real, but such evidence has not yet been presented. I suspect most UFOs are actually earth craft.

Very interesting. Thank you for the answer.

Which only makes me want to ask more questions! Heres one... do you think its possible that some (or most?) higher dimensional beings have the ability to lower their vibration down to 3-D so they can physically manifest in our density?

Yes, they do so regularly, although not to the fullest extent possible. E.g. generally, when you interact with such a being, they lower their vibration and you raise yours, meeting them somewhere in between. Physical touch is actually possible on this level. But, in order to have a permanent, actual physical body to use in this reality, higher-dimensional beings have to incarnate just like the rest of us. That is what avatars are.
