No one has to answer this one. I just wanted to say - over the last two weeks you people on this forum have been a lifeline to me.

In such a short time, to come to such awareness and understanding - and to feel so 'held' and have what I'm sharing taken seriously.... understood and often explained in all kinds of wonderful and creative ways.

YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!!!

I love this forum's people, too. I made the mistake of trying to talk about my experiences with a group of people claiming to be empaths, but I suspect they're just highly sensitive introverts with anxiety. At any rate, they just didn't get one thing I was saying or even try to. I really enjoy coming here. We all have different experiences and view things a little differently, but it's a respectful and helpful place when all of this gets to be a little much to handle without having someone to talk to.

Haha I love the empaths! Hysterical. They sound awful.

Anyway yes, this forum is abounding in people who obviously have got real experience and based on that, proper good advice and encouragement and thoughts to offer. Yes sometimes controversial.. yes sometimes quite emotionally charged! But we are humans after all :-) I like it.

Though it's true.. sometimes I wouldn't mind being able to pop down the pub with a bunch of you and have a bit of a laugh in 'real life'.. that's the only prob with online stuff.

I appreciate this sub-forum as well, because posters show up and provide different opinions for contemplation when emotional hell looms for an OP.

..The peeps who write here are ready and able to ground/counsel those interested in maintaining balance w/ respect to SC’s, including 3d realities, such as responsibility and self-care, etc.

I’m sorry happyhaunt03 you had an unpleasant experience with ‘a group of people claiming to be empaths’.

While there are many wonders in nature and humanity to celebrate as an empath, taking on another’s pain as if it was their own is a huge cross to bear.
But some of us do it anyway..
