Fairy Cemetary Guardians?

I went shopping with my 6 year old daughter today and we passed through a very large cemetary. She said mom, there are lots of ghosts and people in the cemetary. They are saying hi to her. So I tell her to say hi back. I asked her if they were friendly and she said yes. I asked her how she knew they were ghosts and she said they are like her spirit friends at home. I asked her what the ghosts were doing in the cemetary and she said they are with family and friends. Some are not with family and they are watching people in the cemetary. I asked her what the ghosts looked like and she said they look like people.

In the corner of the cemetary closest to the street, she says the fairies in the trees are very sad. I asked her why they are sad and she replied that they see sad people in the cemetary every day. I told her the fairies can choose to leave if they want to. She said no they can't. They are guardians and have to keep watch over the cemetary. I asked her what they looked like and she said they are grey and can sprout wings if they decide to fly down from the trees.

Has anyone heard of fairy cemetary guardians? Also, should I be worried about my daughter developing new abilities to see spirits outside our home? Will they bother her? And how can we make the grey fairies feel better?

I asked my fairy guide about them and she says they do exist. You shouldn't worry to much of this development but make sure she is strong enough and knows how to protect herself, along with how to say No. Spirits may approach her bc of her ability but if she has a bad vibe then she has to say No, and tell them to leave her in peace.
My guide says to help make the fairies feel better you should send them happy light energy as that cheers them up quite a bit. Thanking them for their job is also a wonderful way of cheering them up, and a small gift such as a flower for them makes them very happy.

Thank you Shade and your fairy guide for some wonderful advice! So far so good. I don't think she's brought any spirits home.

My friend e-mailed me this message today:

Quote:
Cemetery Guardians are just like those stone creatures on buildings. They protect the place they are placed. Not sure if they are forced but moat are spirits with a heart of gold. People feeling sad while visiting might a presence but what they feel most of the time are the guardians. I believe they themselves passed on due to illness arising from extreme sadness. They do not want others to be like them, so they encourage people by hugging the shoulders, giving some warm air in the cold and having the cloud away during dark hours. Ever wondered why it always seems to be cloudless even when it rains heavily at a cemetery? There you go, its them.

But of course, there always some lurking evil but they are trapped by the guardians. But the guardians can't remove them. Its a constant battle. They are no longer sad, just tired of how people treat their lives, killing themselves by suicide or accidents that could be prevented.

That is an educated logic, after looking at the patterns. I'm always fantasized by those sculptures in Christian Cemeteries.

Maybe you can do some research, together with your daughter. I have no idea who started it first but I believe the Romans started the trend first. Like ancient Egyptians, burying those chosen ones with Kings and Queens.

My grandmother passed away when I was about 12. My mom would visit my grandmother's grave very often (just about every weekend) and to occupy ourselves while we were at the cemetery, we would play hide and seek among the headstones. We didn't think of the cemetery as a sad place. I liked looking at the various statues and headstones.

I personally love going to grave yards. So peaceful. If I have a problem and need to think or what not I go. I usually see or find the answer I am looking for. That and you can feel the spirits which I like.

Duckstar, I'm not a great mom. I too had a hard time sharing my experiences with my parents, especially my mom. I don't want my children to feel the same way growing up. Once I had a vision of my aunt's (mom's baby sister) deceased twin. I saw my uncle as grown man and he wanted to relay a message to my parents and aunt so I did. My parents told me it was impossible because he died as a child so it wasn't him, just my wild imagination or dream. I remember being incredibly upset.

Thank you dear Vicky. I drove by another cemetery near our home yesterday evening. I asked my daughter if she still see similar ghosts and guardians. She replied yes. I asked her to send love and thankfulness to the guardian spirits there and she said she already did. She's always 2 steps ahead of me.

Yes, everyone has different perspectives. My daughter tend to think of cemeteries as a very sad place and she projects her feelings onto the guardian spirits and vice versa.

I love looking at statues, headstones, mausoleums also. There's so much history behind them. My husband and I went to the same college. There was a humongous cemetery right by our school dating back to the civil war era with lots of famous buried people there. We used to take many strolls there during the day or night. It was very relaxing and fascinating for us.
