So Theo, do you believe God is going to put non-repentant sinners in hell where they will be tormented for eternity??!

What else can he do with them? The Greek word translated hell is Gehenna, which is the name of a valley near Jerusalem where the city's trash was taken to be burned. This is a perfect illustration of the purpose of hell. God created a perfect universe but he gave some of his creatures the ability to choose whether or not they would obey him. Some chose to disobey and this was the origin of evil. God is in the process of cleansing his creation of sin and hell is the place where he disposes of those who refuse to repent of their sins and accept the forgiveness he has povided.

Destroying them would be one thing, but I'm talking about torturing someone for eternity?? You're OK with that?!

Just gimme a yes/no answer, please

I'm OK with anything God chooses to do. He knows better than I do what is right.

silly question, but how could "you" possibly know what God chooses or chooses not to do, if anything at all.......?
