...and Gemini the twins are also depicted as The Lovers in other versions of the zodiac... and in Sam Geppi's explanation of the zodiac (link) in the Mayan version Gemini is depicted as fornicating pigs.

I don't think any one zodiac sign represents sexual desire, that's too narrow a view of an archetypal energy, but rather they do - different aspects of the same.

Interestingly, I have just started to hang out with two of my male scorpio friends after a year of being very busy and studying and not having time to socialize. I have found both of my male scorpio friends (they are twins), that they seem very intrigued by me and message me quite often throughout the day. They are only interested in friendship but they are so direct and determined in their pursuit of just friendship it scares me a bit. I'm an aquarius and like to keep my options open, even can be a bit flakey about making plans. I can admit that.

Anyways, I am remembering why I kept my distance for the past year. I notice they have a penchant for trying to find my insecurities and use them against me. Almost like they are testing me. I admitted to them last week that I had a great time hanging out with them, and we had been partying. I told them that me and some of my other friends have been holding out on hanging out with our own group because we like to have fun and some people in our group can be judgemental. We had gone out as a group in september and partied, and some people do not drink so had their noses stuck in the air.

Well my one scorpio friend this past week kept making snide remarks after me telling him that. He invited me out to party with his own friends and we all had a great time. Then he bugged me about it days later while also wanting to hang out. I thought… this is not how you make friends. But instead I just acknowledged I had a great time and thanked him. I think it threw him off as he wanted me to show an emotional reaction.

Some people will get along with Scorpio, others won't as much. Scorpio's are not bad, just intense. Every sign has their annoying points, their special talent and their good points. We can use our good qualities or our bad qualities. This is true for every sign.

I am a Scorpio and I get along with other Scorpios and with every sign. I can find a way but sometimes there are challenges. Taurus is the opposite sign of Scorpio and I have the biggest problem with Taurus people but I like them. I just have to work harder to avoid the problems. A Taurus will feel the sting of a Scorpio more then any other sign, just as I feel the controlling nature of Taurus. That is the conflict. The challenge is to avoid the conflict. I really like my Taurus friends but I have to tread carefully. I don't want to sting, but they have to stay on their side of the room.

I have problems with my opposite sign because of how my chart is set up. Some people are very attracted to their opposite sign. They say opposites attract. Sometimes yes and sometimes no. There are strong feelings either way.

Judging a sign based on your personal experience is what we all do but our personal experiences are biased.

Yes sounds like the experience I had . They are ready to sting and take great pride in it. Not all scorpios are like that, however the kind of things you are sharing is actually what was happening in the beginning of my relationship with them. It just grew worse, I had no intention of treading in their territory lol, I do not recall they had one though or maybe because their territories are supposed to be so other wordly it was invisible and I had to have a great sixth sense to see it. Anyways, just like you I had other friends just , and I was not focused on them, because I had a life and I had friends , family my own work around it. They were not making any impact. Till in the end it became like bullying, name calling, snide marks. And they had absolutely no right to do it really. Their reputation was tainted , they had lies to tell every now and then. And what was really something was, when they felt that I stood my ground and was pretty much happy when we separated. They started to want to be friends again lol. I was like wait , we thought we fought and separated and are moving on, why are you back lol. I thought you made it clear you hated me. There is no excuse for being a vindictive or treacherous person, its not a great quality to have. Others are going to feel odd and threatened by it.

Anyways I only think it was those few cases I had when I was younger. I do not believe my current experiences are like that.

I do know of a scorpios in my life at present. Two actually, one of them I do not want to say a lot, but they are like my family. The best people I have, and actually on the other end of the scale compared to my earlier experiences. I can still have meaningful conversations with them. They are a lot older to me, like a guardian in the sense. They are important people to me and have been so for a while now.
In my earlier experiences I just missed the red flags, and it can happen with anyone really, It does not have to be assigned to scorpios. I was warned about this friend I made, I ignored it. I avoided the small things that made me doubt , I did not think it could be harmful for me because I was younger and inexperienced. So I am wiser now. I can chose my friends whether they be from any sun sign, not that I am a fan of sun signs anyways.

I was listening to a conversation of a famous asian celebrity who is a scorpio. He was recalling in his interview that as a young boy he was extremely sentimental and things hurt him easily. As he grew in his fame, he calmed down. He is the sweetest, most soft spoken guy you will meet. He has been married to only one woman, has two kids and recently had another two years back. He is almost 50 now, and he is the highest tax payer is his country. He has a strong reputation around him that is hard to break. And he has the sweetest loverboy face lol.

I do not really care about sun signs lol,:) I do not care if anyone's any sun sign. I have never made an opinion of people based on their sun signs. I do not even realize their sun signs until I have formed a solid relationship with them. Sometimes there are uncanny similarities yes. I am sure everyone's had their share of good and bad relationships at some point in their lives :)

I think it only boils down to the experiences you have had as a person with others. What do you feel with your interactions with others, that is what counts. Is your friend being good to you, is he being faithful and loyal to you. Has he proved himself as a friend to you ? A friendship is a healthy exchange, whether it be with anyone from any sun sign :) To me a healthy exchange is what matters the most :)

As a Cancer girl, I adore a Scorpio ! And the feeling is always mutual. I like the fact that they are deep thinkers, I feel comfortable with the instant heaviness and somber air they carry. Plus, something is innately attractive to me about their unique sense of style.

Yes, i do agree that scorpios are quite deep thinkers. Two of my scorpio friends are both philosophy grad students and my bfs brother who is a scorpio majored in philosophy as well.
