"City of Badb"

I joke woke up from a rather peculiar dream, as most are.

All I can recall immediately is viewing a large white and golden palace from high above, like from the perspective of a bird. I knew this city as "Badb" somehow. I think I may have heard it earlier in the dream. In my mind, it shared the likeness and infamy of Babylon. I descended before the entrance of the great city, just outside the polished marble walls. There, a woman guided me inside. I could tell the whole city was deserted, but everything was still clean. It looked like everybody just stopped what they were doing and left. The woman led me to a row of red curtains. She explained that behind each curtain was a coffer, of sorts, for each member of the royal family. The way she spoke of them it was as if they were all dead. I couldn't confirm this, though. She peeked behind each curtain, shouting a sum of dollars... usually several million. At one coffer for a young woman, she said with great excitement, "43 million!!!".

That's basically all I recall from the city of "Badb"

Did you want all that money? It seems like the city was some thing you left behind long ago. Did you feel you were a member of the city? Seems like you left all that behind. You probably left for a more spiritual relem.

I don't know if I wanted the money, but I recall feeling happier as the woman called out sums of money. I don't know if I was a member of the city or not. A detailed conversation took place between the gates of the city and the red curtains, yet I have lost every word.

I know I felt much joy walking through the city. I remember there were beautiful fountains at the corner of every street. Statues of angels (people with wings). Everything was very lavish, as I can gather from random flashes of images I can recall. I saw not a single sign of poverty. Then again, I saw not a single soul besides my female guide.

It looks like your Guide was taking you into yourself. I think the city is what was inside you, as your guide gave you a tour.

It's up to you to decide if this fits. One of my thoughts is an archetype of greed. I don't mean this to criticize you or say you are a greedy person. We all have all the archetypes in us. You have the city all to yourself and have all that money. Greed can make a person very lonely. Something triggered this archetype in you.
