Identifying demons in the astral plane
I have read reports online that there are demons in the astral plain and they can shapeshift to lure people, how can you identify demons even when they are in disguise

When your lucidity allows you to consider this possibility, just ask them about it. While they are in disguise it means they don't want the dreamer to find out. Realizing the truth might end the dream or turn it into a nightmare.

I never met demons. Probably because I don't believe they exists.

The Sign of the Cross from the Christian tradition is very effective in binding demons on the astral, and even getting their name, rank and purpose for being hostile to you. But a lot will run away when you do this.
To us Humans, we just make a gesture with our hands, but to them, they see a Light and the entire experience of how Jesus Christ disarmed and disgraced them on the Cross.

Yeah there are, and they can be tricky. But usually, I am able to feel them before I see them relatively quickly. Which I see as a heads up.
