And why are you reacting as if it is happening now ?

When you disengage from the Story, you look on, and see that the bible is giving YOU the Example.

The phariseers, from the story, are not here now, right ? Look left and right and please point to a phariseer from the bible. At least i do not see any here, and you ?
So, for now,all that is left is only an example of what not to do.
The Teaching is what matters, not what anyone did.

I take his fury at the Pharisees as a record of his attitude to the Pharisees, not as a teaching story intended for anyone else, not as a parable, not as an example for anyone elses behaviour.

If you want to take it that way, that's up to you. Let it be an example to you, I prefer to concentrate on other verses in the bible, whilst acknowledging that Jesus is recorded as being highly riled about the historical Pharisees.

That is ok django.

It is up to you to choose your experiences, as i have had mine. If you do not like what i wrote, it is yours to dislike it.
And i won't convince you of my experiences, even if i could.

In this world one can believe either in death or in Resurrection. In ONE, not in Both. And in which one is the belief put in, that he will see.

I'm not here to judge anything. My belief is in resurrection.

How does Jesus's treatment of the Pharisees relate to belief in death or resurrection?
