Can walk-ins explain past lives?

I know little about the subject but have been trying to find answers from some things that I have exprience. In short, I've been several men. Each givng me their take on history. One in particular showed me his life and how he died (I even felt the pain). However, it may of those cases they were not "talking" to me but talking *at* me. It was like they were replaying events in their head or I was recieving a first ahnd account. In fact, I felt like these people. I feel the need to add that while i use to be a history buff, it was only about certain things...no of which I have retained knowledge to. Interestingly enough, none of these men are from the periods or cultures that I'm interested in. Once going to a friend who studies history she able to tell me that all of the information was historically accurate.

The conflict lies in the fact that I have had soe people tell me these are past lives and others saying that these are just "walk-ins" (assuming these exchanges are temporary). Would anyone mind giving me their exprience or opinions?

To me it sounds more like past life memories.
Some people have memories of their past lives.
Walk-ins and past lives are really almost the same.
They have there differences though.
Lets put it this way memories of past lives are a learning experience.
Its like a hint to let you know your progress.It seems to me that your a very evolved soul.
Focus on the memories of your past lives learn from them.

In the case of walk-ins, there is an agreement between a walk-in and the owner of a body that the walk-in could occupy the body upon the death of the owner.
The owner relinquishes his body and allows the walk-in entity to use it. I have never read an account that says otherwise. There is always consent by the owner of the body which usually is a healthy body.

Bluegreen, Are you sure the bodies are always healthy? I've heard of people waking from a NDE or a coma, and those close to them don't recognize, they feel like the person is so different.

I think the bodies are healthy in the sense that they are functioning bodies. People who have had an NDE are different. Their values and priorities have changed which would make them appear to be different persons.

I think it depends on the trauma suffered by people who wake up from a coma. I know that trauma to the forehead, even a blow, may cause a personality change.

There appears to be something called "imprinting." Imprinting is when an entity imprints another person's life--it assimilates it. Once it happens, that life cannot be distinguished from their own past lives. Apparently this is done when certain experiences are needed for a life on earth which the incoming soul lacks. In the case I read about, it was an entity that had never incarnated on earth.
