The first applies to all entities in all places. The second is personal and specific to an individual.
Not concepts to be found in (Modern) Spiritualism, the forum we're writing in.

I always risk being told off for saying this but, quote, "universal soul" is no part of this Spiritualism forum.
Such topics belong in a different forum, perhaps 'Spiritual Development' under the " Spirituality & Beliefs" umbrella ....
Spiritualism (more accurately Modern Spiritualism) - under the 'Religions and Faiths' umbrella - is a specific philosophy and in the UK is a registered and legally recognised religion.

i like to use the hologram as a metaphor. no matter how tiny the piece broken off the original hologram that tiny piece contains the whole original image intact.
