What do you make of deja vu?

I used to not think much of it. Now, I wonder.

I'm not so sure it's good news. If I'm remembering something that I know for a fact that I've never done before - then why am I having to repeat it and how many times have I done it?

Is it alternate/parallel reality stuff?

What are your thoughts?

Ah, deja vu! I got that a couple of nights ago and it lasted for about 5 minutes. It seemed to go on and on.
Once I got it years ago and 'remembered the future' (that is -what was going to happen next in earth terms. I recalled it, as a memory.) That was about some silly thing of no interest to anyone else by the way.

I used to think that deja vu could be a sudden recall of a precognitive dream. As we don't remember ....80-90? per cent of our dreams, and some are precognitive, it makes sense that we could have a few lurking, and only need a trigger to recall them. But when we do recall them, we might not remember it as a dream because that's got quite buried, but might just have a sense of 'this has happened before'.
That was my idea about it anyway.
But now I'm not so sure what it is. I am beginning to wonder if it's some glitch in the perception of linear time, which we are accustomed to in this dimension, in physical bodies. And maybe it's a glimpse of 'no time'.
I really don't know what it is....

I have had really strong Deja vu experiences. I find it strange that there isnt more interest on places like this site on this subject.

Check out Anthony Peak's work on the subject, in my opinion the best theory put forward.

Thanks Tobi and SG!

Good stuff.

I really enjoyed listening to Anthony Peake and then to Ervin Saszlo.

I always find it curious when - listening to my heart - I find the exact information I didn't realize I was looking for. :)

I heard it means youre on the right path. That, and hearing somebody sneeze. In old times if a leader were giving a speech to his followers and heard someone sneeze it meant his speaking was spot on, instead on saying "bless you" to the sneezer, its like god was saying "bless you" to someone that heard it.

I think deja vu is suggestive of living the same life over again.

From an early age I've experienced countless deja vu feelings. For me, deja vu is split into two separates. So I can use it to guide me through life.

If my deja vu is from my past life (which 80% are) I take these as memories, and as being "on the right path" in life and they usually have always guided me right.

If my deja vu is from this current earthbound life, it's usually a warning sign, that I need to either re-learn something or that I'm possibly on the wrong path.

Yesterday i had one, i dreamed about some restaurant and yesterday when we were there i remembered. I would say like dejavu is related to synchronity.
It happened before, i already writed about it in some other topic.
It usually happens, that i dream about it 2-3 weeks before this happens. Sometimes i remember dreams but usually i forget and remember when event occurs.

But this time was different, it should happened more that it has so today i get another synchronity what else should happened but it didn't.

But i don't have any more detailed explanation about it.
