What's your experience with Aegerine?

Just wondering how does it feels having this crystal.

Is this more better than Black Tourmaline?

Do you think is this rare?

I bought a specimen of Aegerine a while back with the express purpose of comparing it with Black Tourmaline. My experience is that Aegerine is incredibly powerful; both in its ability to dissipate negative energies as well as its ability to ground one deeply into the earth.Its the only stone I would say is just as powerful in those respects as Black Tourmaline. Energetic signatures very similar but with differences, probably like comparing a Ferrari to a Lamborghini.

Many of what I see looks like a black stick and are tiny. I was thinking then if there's "thicker shape" specimen but not that expensive. And can be carried in the pocket or made into pendant.

Is this brittle and needs careful handling?

Actually, the Black Tourmaline for me felt a little bit overpowering or the energy felt a bit "heavy" and still I could not feel its "protection" from emf radiation and I still felt tired and mentally fatigue after using my laptop. So I was thinking that maybe Aegerine could be more better.

Any good advice how to spot real from fake Aegerine?
