You'd probably be better re-framing your question. Tarot isn't the best tool for answering yes/no questions.
Maybe ask 'what should I know about my missed connection? ' and have set positions for the cards.
I find a pendulum is better for yes/no questions.

Pendulum doesn’t work for me. If I think “swing from left to right”, then it will. If I think “from right to left”, then it will.
If I think yes it will answer yes. If I think no, it will answer no.
And if I think nothing, it doesn’t swing/sway at all

Sounds like your pendulum is channeling what you might be putting out.
