Without God, Evil does not exists

Isaiah 45:7
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things

I had this Scripture come to mind this morning. So I began to think, without God there's no evil in the world. God is the measure by which we know goodness. It is by God's moral light, the standard by which we live, the standard that creates goodness. Without God, there's no evil in the world as there's nothing to compare the ungodly, "For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved" --John 3:20

Yep, I don't have the concept of god in my life, so yes, I don't see evil, I only see what arises, and what arises we label, good or evil.

I disagree. I believe the first part of the O.T. God said let there be light and created then everything and it was good. God has no part in evil, illness, decay, suffering or death.

Without so called god there cannot be sickness, or what we call good and evil, ...god or Consciousness, is all there is, these things that we don't like are just waves on the ocean of consciousness, we concentrate too much on the wave and forget what is below the wave.

I do agree that at the very beginning all was good, but further reading has it in John 3:20 "For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved" says much, with emphasis placed on reproved. How do you explain Isaiah 45:7 Shabby?

Adam and Eve when having ate from the tree were reproved, and when they became, the "measure" by the very things that are wrong, when creation was no longer obedient, things got really ugly.

Light is life. He that is Life can not hate life for he would hate himself. Reproved like repent simply means to become aware of what is not serving one and change.

Adam and Eve forgot they were the light. They took themselves to be humans. Yes this is where suffering has it's origin.

The belief in being human brings about suffering and physical death. Those that realize they are what came from God see the physical death as just the end of one experience and the beginning of a new one.
