A child hood experience.

I do not know if this is the right place to post this; however, it involves a faerie.

When I was in my childhood house when I was a mere adolescent, I saw what looked like a silhouette of a faerie ascending up the wall. It was at night and I was drifting off to sleep; however, I was conscious at the time. I was staring at the ceiling and from the corner of my eye I saw it in my room.

Even though years have pass since that encounter, I can still remember it so clearly and it leaves questions lingering in the back of my mind. Was that an encounter, or a mere coincidence? Is there a reason why I encountered this being?

I have only told a select few about this, because many would pass it off as the mind of a child wreaking havoc. I solemnly believe that it was more than that, because it was real. Have any of you ever had any encounters like this? Be it as a child, or your adult years.

When I was a child, I used to see fairies, goblins and elves and numerous other forms in my bedroom most nights. It scared me!

Many decades later, I remembered that I had made a soul agreement to give up my ability to contact the 'spirit world' because my theme is this life was to be complete independence and self sufficiency! Which is why, of course, seeing such magical things scared me.

Probably all very young babies see these things...

It didn't scare me, I was rather intrigued by it. When I was a child, I saw stuff like shadows and other things that were deemed scary. I still sense their presence and sometimes I do see and feel their presence.

Ever since I saw that fairy, I have believed that they are real and I have questioned the mundane world a lot, even at a young age.
