I haven't seen this posted elsewhere so sorry if I'm duplicating. Psychometry (see Wikipedia
) is an ability to sense the energy of objects and I always thought it would be interesting to study historical events this way. Every object has memories associated with it. So historical objects could give us glimpses into the times it has lived.
In the same way old trees - trees that have lived through things - can tell us things.
When I link with someone in giving a reading and a past life comes up I honestly don't know whether it's really a past life or just the person's fantasy of a past life, or something they watched in a movie. It just comes up as an image. But with psychometry, the object has limited consciousness and no active mind - so the memories of the past should be fairly legitimate.
I think it would be an interesting experiment to have a table of objects in a museum and have a group of psychics who are sensitive to object memory collaborate and pool their impressions and create a story.
Does anyone have thoughts about this?
