Why I'm not enlightened

Beats me!

I've studied philosophy,
written it,
sung chants
meditated,
been nice to folks
spoken the truth
bathed in the Ganges
communed with nature
met fairies, angels,saints
prayed for others
been silent
loved
shared
been grateful
am loved by millions

So how come I'm not enlightened-fully realized yet ?
Visited by Babajji?
On Oprah?

What's YOUR excuse, rationalization, sad story?

Or are you drinking buddies with Ekhardt,, Ram Dass, Mooji ? And on Jesus's , Buddha's speed dial.

This is a fun thread, if it's not obvious.

I would love to go for a drink with Eckhart or invite Jesus to a fitting supper. Also wouldn't mind Buddha sharing with me that joke that is obviously so funny!

My excuse is that EVERYONE ELSE keeps making me angry. If it wasn't for everyone else then I wouldn't get angry. Darn people, keeping me from enlightenment.

I had a dream a while back where I was good friends with Eckhart, was awesome! He's a great guy in the non flesh.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

It's my life. The way it is. If it wasn't for my life I could find enlightenment, no problems :)
