I was fortunate to find a temp job that should last another 2 months and after that I should be able to find others until I can see if the law enforcement thingy pans out.
Do you know that after I passed the written test and then the physical test, that they congratulated me and then gave me a date for the oral interview (the next step).
It is in January of 2013! lol

That is how many people applied..........

I am crystal clear on how quickly one's situation can change, i have been working on an as-needed basis for two firms for just over 2 years, and.. i am making less than thirty percent of what i earned in 2007.. i have always been generous with others (some people say too much so), but i trust that things balance-out.. the economic reset (and it isn't over) has restricted most people's means for generosity, but.. i have never doubted that things balance, so..

I, along with three co-inventors, have just patented a suite of products and services that will make a substantial positive environmental impact, improve the quality of Life for everybody, and provide real financial security for me, our company, and as many of our friends as are willing to pitch-in and help.. the Universe works exactly as you believe it will, in proportion with how much you 'actually' believe it will.. i only need to survive for another three months while the manufacturing processes are tooled and producing the hardware, and the software is certified for cross-compatibility with different public agencies' criteria..

It is humbling to be present for this process's unfolding, it is wonderful to be able to help others..

Be well..

OK, if you were to get into the Police Force, tell me what are your objectives and goals? To protect the innocent? To use the minimum necessary force to do so, to be for the people and of the people and to try with all your might to protect the rights and freedoms of all? Because if not, you should not be a police officer. Your objectives and goals should be at least this high no matter if you are a police person or not.

Hey Jyotir,

Quote:
If something is 'impossible' that means what is possible - or inevitable - is some limitation

Correct. This idea of finding some perfect state where all fears, insecurities, problems, pain and suffering are swept away is pure fantasy.

...In this way we become aware of ourselves increasingly more fully, which is all God-realization is.

Increasingly more fully? So, I guess what your saying is "enlightenment"/"liberation"/"awakening"/"God-consciosness" is not so much a destination but rather a process/journey. In which case I agree.

Quote:
We are God, essentially. If we were not, if we were separate from God, this process would not be possible, functionally. So I guess if 'Consciousness' is separate from our lives, that would describe a situation in which God-realization would not be possible.

There are plenty of world-views that accept this duality (and interestingly, many have a large component of pining for a blissful after-life...

I've arrived at a point where the old cliches now make perfect sense.

For example,

"Self is looking for self"
"What you've been looking for has been there the whole time"
"your chasing your tail"
"your already "there" - already "it""
"the truth is sooooo simple that we often look right past it"... and more

But I'm not sure if such things can really be taught - they can only be SEEN when the "seeker" in us has worn itself out.

A mind closed to the possibility might never know for sure, although quite a few very skeptical people have been quite surprised.

Xan

...

But maybe I have experienced "it" for myself.

Hi Dr . Truth .

Then why would you say that many don't feel that there already there and already It .

How does one get to the realization that they are already there and already It .

it might or might not be fantasy, one can't say for sure imo.

also as i see it from the talks of a certain teacher, it's not about being in a state where such "problems, insecurities etc" do not occur, but that as they happen a direct insight into their whole nature and structure is perceived and so they have no lasting affect as stored memory/fear.

Wow! you are living my dream. My best to you!
I just wanted to add something that happened recently to support the hi-lited statement you made. (which I experience as true as well and to which is a great mystery to me).
I trained for this physical test that I spoke of earlier really hard for 2 months and everyday I worried that I would hurt myself the day before the test and not be able to take it (they give no makeups). Well 2 days before the test, I pulled a muscle in my back and couldn't move one of the days, followed by ice packs and advil the day of the exam.
I toughed thru it but it showed me once more the power of the mind.
I can't wait to hear more about your invention when you are able to disclose it.
Awesome!

Peace, James

The job is specifically for being a corrections officer and I studied hard in many ways to know as much as I can about what the job entails. Enough to have a good idea that I might be good at it. The next step of the hiring process will address your same concerns because they don't want someone who just wants a secure job till retirement.
Objectives and goals, my friend, have a way of being dictated to you by life at times. This is one of them for me and that is the thing about what is happening as oppose to the previous 53 years of my life.
It's all good, I accept it but it took some adjustment.

Peace, James

James, I spent 2 years in the US army in the military occupational specialty called "95 Bravo" and also 95 Charlie which is to say an MP correctional specialist. I was 19 then and foolhardy, but this can be a dangerous occupation. If you are 53, I think if you want this sort of occupation, you may need some college in sociology? Or I suppose if you just want to make a living, maybe you can be a prison guard. If you do become a prison guard, let me offer a tip. Those imprisoned are people just like you and me, but got some bad ideas/advice/breaks. Treat them with all due respect.
