I agree, Hadit. There are many reasons why people do horrible things; sometimes they are sick, sometimes they are disconnected from their spirit, sometimes they just haven't had the nurturing and guidance that we used to give when we lived communally with each other. This secularized and individualized world has separated us from each other, our connection to our Higher power, and has left us more vulnerable to committing violent behaviour which is labeled "evil".

I have done some things in my life, when I was spiritually empty and lost, and struggled with brain health challenges, and did things that were extremely hurtful. Others could have easily called me "evil". I'm so grateful I got the healing and the help and the chance to reconnect to my Spirit, cuz who knows where I would've ended up! (Seriously - one messed up kid/young adult.)

Don't forget that there are negative entities that have never been human which live on the lower astral planes. Some of these entities can attach themselves to the energy field of a person, especially if a person is negative.

Hi, Jenny Crow! Eeep, where do these "entities" come from, do you know? And I wonder what their "purpose" is; why would Creator allow them to be created? Or does something else create them? (I don't mean you have to post spreadsheets and reports to prove your point! Just your thoughts would be good to read. Your words are good enuff for me!)

I remember one Elder spoke of this and I kind of challenged him on it. Maybe I don't want to "believe" in those cuz it kinda scares me. And I feel bad for them - must suck to be an evil entity existing in a lower plane; doesn't sound like a very happy existence. Do they respond to healing prayers?

Now that I re-read your post, maybe you were getting more at why people turn spirits/life forms (what do we call them?) into "demons" by "demonizing" them?

From the Biblical perspective there is more to it than stated, regarding the angelic, faithful, and fallen.
Which is also addressed in the Book of Ephesians, regarding "powers annd principalities". Heirarchies of evil.

In the Old Testament, in Daniel, we read of how the angel Gabriel was impeded by such an entity, a fallen angel, referred to as the "Prince of Persia". True!

But, how the Angel Michael came to his aid, so he could attend to Daniel, who had been fasting and praying about his homeland, while in exile in Babylon.

"And he said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong..."

Sometimes people are influenced by people who are evil or bad. I remember in school seeing a film about Germany during Nazi rule. There was a gathering of Hitler Youth Groups in Germany at a large stadium. This gathering went on for hours and the crowds were in a frenzy. Our teacher showed us clips of this gathering to show how people who are evil can influence people and influence an entire nation. The speakers looked like they were madmen when they spoke.

No one in our class myself included believed that anyone could cause us to go into a frenzy over someone or something, certainly not something that was evil. The fact is anyone can be influenced or be so motivated by what they heard that they go out and do something (good or evil).

I found out years later when I was a political rally for someone who was running for office that I went into a frenzy about his message of going out and doing volunteer work. This person was a good person and not one who was out to do evil. It shocked me that I reacted in this way as I'm a mild mannered person who doesn't show a lot of emotion. I was also shocked at the level of emotion I showed and so were others who knew me and saw me react to this speaker.

Today there are a lot of people out there that are evil or people who encourage others to go out and harm others. Seems like a lot more than when I was a child. There is a lot of anger and hatred out there which years ago was on the fringes but now seems to be everywhere and there is no escape from it. Some of it is very bad and I wonder where it has come from. I feel sorry for the younger generation.

When I go out, I'm a lot more cautious than I used to be. I never used to feel unsafe. You don't have to do anything to become victimized by evil. It seems like some people who are very spiritual seemed to be attacked or threatened by evil either physically or mentally (others can't stand goodness and react very strongly to it or you can feel the negative energy which drains you emotionally).
