Seeing and Talking to your Angels/Guides

I've met with many spiritual leaders who can physically see and hear my guides and angels. I dream that I can do the same so easily as they do.. It takes work, of course! But how do I get there?
So my question is... what are some practices that I could do to get to that level. I've never seen my guide or angel or even heard them. Well, I hear them as thoughts in my head thats hard to distinguish if its just me or them...
I think my third eye is partially open, I've seen a brownie before. And I do seen fae occasionally in my minds eye as little lights. And I see shadows //quite too often....\\ as well.

Any help? Tips? Suggestions? All excepted. I'm very eager to learn<3

Hi,

I had the desire to have spirit guides (to teach me), after reading a book by someone who received guidance from guides through her spiritual journey. Then in a couple of months, I had a formal meet-and-greet with my spirit guides, spirit helpers, and angels.

So just having the desire and intention is sufficient. Perhaps you have certain expectations of how they are to appear? I had no expectations. I just allow whatever that needs to happen, to happen.

The universe works in amazing ways. Don't tell it how it should come to you. Just be receptive to how it chooses to deliver your desire to you. ^_^

It sounds like you are already there

Try asking for the guide's name, and just see if a name pops into your mind.

Try speaking their name in your head before going to sleep.

They are listening all the time.

Maybe get yourself to wake-up at 4AM, think their name and fall back to sleep. 4AM-6AM is usually the easiest time for a person to remember dreams.

So if they turn up in a dream, then you will remember it.

I agree with Wanchain that two key ingredients are (1.) intention, and (2.) having no expectations.

Something that helps many people significantly is also: meditation. Pracice focusing gently on a neutral thing in your mind. Every time a thought comes, when you recognize you're suddenly in a thought, gently (and without judgement) bring yourself back to the focus on the neutral thing. Eventually after consistent practice you will be able to focus simply on your awareness of the now! Thoughts may still come but continue to focus on your awareness of the now- just your awareness itself. This practice significantly helps recognize non-physical-reality type information because you gain experience in seeing what your thoughts are versus other types of data that you can get from the non-physical.

You see ive had quite a different experience ... 5 years with intent and its not been sufficient .... Im receptive and conscious and have asked and have opened myself have tried to communicate and nothing... My faith is there i still try ... But i dont get a physical reply or can actually see my guides ... I still continue in prayer one day i will get that experience .. I leave myself open
