Returning as a guide
Is it possible to return as an inter-dimensional being or some kind of spirit guide?

I would think so, at least for a time. My grandma was my spirit guide for a bit up until I reached the point when I realized that yes, becoming a spiritual healer was my purpose. Then she departed.

You don’t give yourself enough credit my friend! You are a powerful creator existing not only in the third dimension but all of them at once. You are always connected to the source of creation; the only difference between you and a spirit guide is they are not currently physically embodied. While there information is much more fluid yours must pass through an ocean of contrast. It takes a very strong and brave soul to dive into the density of this planet.
That being said you were more than likely a guide before this incarnation.

The vast majority of spirit guides I have communicated with, were among the living humans before becoming noncorporeal guides.

Yes, in Michael Newton's book Journey of Souls he said that there are beings who are guides in spirit that incarnate here. I believe I'm a spirit guide in spirit.

I'm just in the middle of re-reading that book and read last night about the guy he regressed who was a Spirit Guide. Very interesting. And the Guide described himself as a Watcher. |

Yes, although in my experience, once a soul decides to go down the path of being a spirit guide, it means they tend not to incarnate here anymore.
