Fireball dream

Hello,

Had a dream the other night I was on a beach it was dark and there was a deep feeling of fear and anxiety. There were lots of other people staring out at the ocean where there were big fires in the distance and boats with water cannons trying to put them out, then we noticed fireballs falling from the sky and they were heading our way. Everyone started running towards the cliff faces while I stood and watched in fear, it started to spit with the odd fireball hitting the beach so I started running. When I got to the cliff face there were big wooden doors and the last of the people were going through, as I was waiting a couple of people I knew had been burnt and it was now raining snakes aswell. When I got through the doors there was an empty floor and above were many levels of accomodation filled with people I know, someone told me I had to go as if it was my own fault. I hadn't noticed but there was a guy with me holding a pistol and he gave me what looked like a pen with a bullet in it and said this is all I will need then we went back out to the snakes and fireballs. The dream ended with a sunny day and a couple of huts me and my unknown friend had made sitting on top of the cliff face with a beautiful view. I then woke up with a feeling the dream carried a strong message. Have a couple of ideas of what it could mean but any help would be appreciated

the scene is of an apocalypse. you were turned away from shelter by "someone".
that person doesn't have a feeling of being "official", so i'm thinking you've
chosen to face the conflagration as if you were responsible for creating it.
the unknown friend is, or is acting as, a 'spiritual guide' in your efforts.
you were instructed that "all [you] will need" is that pen, with a single bullet
in it, so i'm thinking that you'll be expressing some idea, probably here on
this forum, using the power of the pen.
