I posted a lovely tribute to this here then less than an hour later someone else started another thread exactly the same so I didn't think we needed two threads.... here is some of what I posted

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N82wNJFVeK8

ANZAC day is a day for honouring our servicemen and women who whether through choice or conscription gave their lives for our two countries Australia and New Zealand. I wasn't able to be present at the but was fortunate to see the Last Post portion of the Dawn Service on tv at work always brings me to tears and makes my heart ache for those past and most recently that we have lost.....

no matter what my beliefs are I will always honour these servicemen and women that gave their lives for their country.
