Strange sensation when in meditation

From an early age I used to wake up from dreams with a strange sensation as if I was super huge, having no boundaries.How can I describe it? I was like infinite, everything was me, there was no feeling of being "something" but a feeling of being "everything".Now, that's not all of it, at the same time, I had the sensation that I was super small, but, yet again, having no boundaries.

Now, this sensation occurred when I was really young, but few months later, when I was in meditation, it happened again.Now, I wasn't afraid of it, I've said that I am going to feel it till the end ( when I was just a child, I used to wake up all the people from the house with my scream :)) ), it lasted few minutes, then I felt again being one with my body.

I found some information about it, but nothing really helpful.

By the way, once when I was sleeping ( I was around 13-15 years old), I remember floating up from my body, I could see everything around me, it was like there's a color over all the colors in my room, and this color was blue, even more, I could hear my family talking.I was close to to pass through the ceiling, but, then, I woke up.

So... I used to have this happen to me when I was small, also. It always started the same way, I would hear my name being called out from many different directions in many different voices and then suddenly I was having a dual feeling of feeling myself start shrinking smaller and smaller, and always having that tiny pin-point understanding that that tiny little point was me, and at the same time, expanding out and out into the universe and becoming super-huge.

As I write this paragraph, I'm feeling the sensations of it - when I was little, I was actually seeing it, as well. I would see my body/house/physical existence falling away as I grew larger into the universe.

I never knew anyone else ever had a similar thing happen to them, how cool :)

That's the best description I've ever read, that's how it feels.
My grandma had it too.I am born on 25 and she on 26 this month, sadly she passed away.

I see, maybe you will experience something more, don't get scared, don't get scared, "stay in it" till the end :).

I know different people experience different sensations when they're about to exit the body, it may have something to do with that.

I also remember reading that there's an astral projection method where you keep increasing your size and you can just keep expanding through the sky and universe by making your astral body grow. I've never tried it but it sounded very interesting.

I know exactly what you're talking about, I experienced the same thing as a child. A few months back, I found out it's called 'Alice in Wonderland' Phenomenon (growing and shrinking feeling). Apparently it's common for children and they end up growing out of it. I've experienced it a few times as an adult, it's very strange. I described it as looking through binoculars backwards. Hahaha!
