Hi purpleGlitter.
To me the four of cups is someone feeling stagnent, dissatisfied with life or either in a relationship/marriage, that the grass is not greener on the other side. Looking at what you have and not what you think you want. And not to reject other peoples help.

The world you have the world at your feet, the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. alos long ditant travel could be coming up.
I hope this helps.
Love GA ;) x

4 of cups is as what the poster above had already suggested. The person may see you as someone who might be a bit fed up and bored with certain areas of your life and they may feel you are not quite happy with what you have and that you may feel like something is missing from your life, situation or relationship.

The world can mean that this is what they think of you-as their world x

It's been quite a while since this question was posted - would be great if the original poster could come back and verify! :)

My take on it is that the other person feels very strongly and happily about you - a sense of completeness (ok, or travel, but instinct guesses the first one). But they're worried that either you or they haven't quite figured out how to manage the relationship - either you don't quite have the time for it, or it's not quite fitting in with everything else you've got in your life.

I would like to add a different view on the 4 of cups cause it comes out often in my readings under another perspective which is not being bored.

It is also about overlooking an opportunity. For example in the rider, the guy is so absorbed in his current world that he does not see other opportunities presented, or does not want to see them in purpose. He is fixated on the 3 cups and not seeing the 4th cup.

The world can mean that you mean the world to them, or also that a cycle has been completed and you are ready for a new one ( like getting married ).

So this person sees you as something new, a new chance presented to this person, and that being with you may bring you to another cycle of life after completing the previous one, where this person might have been too focused on what was at hand and overlooking other opportunities.

Just my 2 cents cause 4 of cups as bored or stagnant would not match much with the world card which is evolution and new beginnings, so probably you are the new chance this person was overlooking to start a new cycle.

Very true. the poster below was right, except for the 4 of cups was their view of me. obviously i was the one who was not accepting and the world could have been their feelings for me. dont know why i didnt see it at the time. not that it would have changed anything, but good guesses.

Merry do we meet and well met we are (indeed).

This person sees you as being disatisfied with what you already have and thinks that you have all that you need.

However--it REALLY (only) matters what you think--
so (perhaps) some soul-searching is in order.

My favorite question for clarification is to ask the Mother (my Deity) to--
"Show me myself"--but be prepared to make a fearless and honest self-evaluation.

Peace and Love on your path to Discovering the Mysteries...

Blessed be...
