I'm new here

And never, ever know what to say for these introductions. So I'm usually tempted to just skip them.

I notice most of the ones I looked at were quite brief. I'll try to keep mine brief also.

I'm a quite senior citizen who has been involved with metaphysics since before "New Age" was a term, tho like so many others I know of I grew up Catholic.

I've gone through a period of not very close involvement with my own spirituality (nearly decade now) and perhaps not surprisingly I find myself in dire straits -- stuck in every life direction: health-wise (bit time!), financially (big time), relationship, living situation, and maybe other areas of my life I'm not even thinking of at the moment. (Well, the state of the world is a bit of a downer too, but I won't get into that.)

I'm working on all of it and am pleased that a few things are showing some promise. Example: I was meditating the other day and opened my eyes which fell immediately and only -- as if drawn there -- on a book about self-healing with meditation. (Healing Yourself with Light by LaUna Huffines) I mean what stronger/clearer message about what to do about my health along with the message, "Spirit is here, guiding you" could one want?

So, one of the things I knew I needed to do was find a place where I could get -- and maybe even give -- a bit of spiritual inspiration and sustenance.
