I enjoy that state too, but I also love the diversity of the normal day-to-day life. The balance for me is somewhat about: approximately one or two hours of meditation per day, and the rest of the day is meant for "normal living".

For me, I meditate as part of my living.

I do both. I have a general meditation that is part of my life and I have focused meditations with a specific purpose for each session.

Not in the body. The chakras beyond 7 are outside the physical body.

Yes, this was the point made in an earlier reply. If one meditates on a goal, one will only find what was in their mind to begin with = the thought of the goal. Whereas, if one meditates without thought, one will find whatever is there.

By meditating because I enjoy being in meditation, what I mean is that I don't force myself to practise meditation as a discipline, I do it because I like to. I lead a busy life and I'm aware when the need is there to stop and take time out.

To add.. having never meditated for a goal, I may be misunderstanding, but it seems kind of ego based to meditate in order to get something or somewhere.

I employ it in routine as a daily appointment with myself.

Outside the body, but still belonging to this certain being. Sounds somewhat like Advaita.
Are there more than 8th chakras?
