I'm lost and afraid to speak to my angels

I've believed in angels for years and they've been one of the most helpful outlets for me but now im afraid of them. I saw doreen virtue's post and although i'm not religious and believe that saying ‘oracle cards are evil’ ‘speaking to angles like this is a sin’ is silly, i've got a bad taste in my mouth and now i dont want to go near them. I'm lost. They were my help, my refuge and now im afraid to turn to them in case they're not what i thought they were. Any advice?

Your Angels will always be around you and support you. but to call them evil from a certain person who made her living from them
because at the end of the day her opinion shouldn't matter to you if you ask me.
if your angels have always supported you why should the opinion of one person make you question that?
she has her reasons I cant say why she should say that they are evil but that's my opinion

There are no angels who help us. The true angels are the few people such as close friends who would go to great lengths to help you. But the idea of a cute guardian angel babysitting you is a misconception. Ultimately, we are left to fend for ourselves. We are living in a world where weakness is rewarded with punishment.

How many recent posters have joined SF, soon saying and - subliminally or overtly suggesting - that angels and/or beings of light/Archangels etc. are "evil"?

I've been reading your posts over the last 2-3 months, and wanted to say that I appreciate your honesty and down-to-earthness.

Not speaking to any spiritual matters, I wanted to comment on your last point - I don't think this is the case.

Trust me... More so than anyone else, I wish I was wrong about that. But that's just the way the universe works. Of course if it was up to me, things would be running a lot differently.

Greetings confusedandabitlost and welcome to SF!

Our spiritual paths are unique to us. The only thing I can say is to follow your intuition as to what is right for your path. You can look at what others say but in the end, it's your choice as to what belongs on your path. There are angels that are from the Light and others that aren't. I believe guardian angels are of the Light and do help us. The thing is, they respect free will so we do have to give them permission to help us or they won't act.
