My ring and a blue tigers eye

About a month ago, I lost my wedding ring. It didn't fall off my finger, I took it off to make scones at my shop and put it in my pocket. At the end of the work day when I was changing my clothes to go to yoga, my blue tigers eye feel out of my pocket and into my shoe on the floor. I wasn't thinking about the ring until the next morning when I went to get it out of my pocket and it wasn't there. My first thought was when the tigers eye fell- I tore the whole back of my shop apart- I searched everywhere. After that I checked my truck, my closet- it was no where to be found. My husband and daughter were talking about getting me a nicer one (20 yr anniversary in November) but I have been telling them no, it will turn up. Well guess what... Tonight I was getting ready to go to dinner with friends and decided to wear a pair of shoes that I haven't wore in ages and my ring was in one of the shoes. I have no idea how it could have fallen there- but it did- and now I have my ring back! I am so happy. What a coincidence that the tigers eye fell in a shoe at work and then the ring fell out of the same pocket into a different shoe, in a truly odd place in my closet. :)

You know, I keep telling myself that I should have paid attention and checked all my shoes- because the stone falling in my shoe felt significant to begin with. This feels like another little lesson on "listening". :)
